Special Effects
Scott is a member of the Inner Magic Circle (honoured with a Gold Star), and is a past recipient of The Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year award. In addition to his skills as a performer, he is known for creating magic-based special effects and illusions for West End and Broadway theatre, and for film and television.
Most notably, Scott was a co-creator of Cirque du Soleil’s current world touring show Kooza, designing its magic and special effects. Other recent credits include: I Can’t Sing! The X-Factor Musical (West End); The Turn of the Screw (Almeida); Ghost Stories (West End/Toronto); Spamalot, Derren Brown: Svengali, Ladykillers (West End/UK tour); Love Never Dies, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Sherlock Holmes: The Best Kept Secret (UK Tour); The War of the Worlds (Arena Tour) and Faust (New York Metropolitan Opera).
He has taught magic for film and TV to the likes of Sir Michael Caine, Woody Allen, Catherine Zeta Jones and Edward Norton. Scott’s work has taken him around the globe and he appeared in and worked on productions in the USA, Canada, Japan, India, Egypt, Israel, France, Sweden, Holland and Spain
